Both our daughter and son were enrolled in Minto’s Casa and they were extremely well cared for and loved while we were there. We would get regular pictures of them during the day and see all the fun things they were doing! The ladies there really feel like an extension of our family. We ended up moving to another state so we had to leave; but we would have stayed until our kids were ready for preschool/kindergarten otherwise. They are truly a special group of people and we feel very fortunate to have had them in our children’s lives. We miss you already Minto’s Casa! ❤️
Jessica RWe sent our older son to Minto's while living in Novi a few years ago. Now he is 7 and we have been in California for a few years now, we still have fond memories of this daycare center. I have to say it really felt like home away from home for the children when the teachers and owner Ms. Minto had such loving and caring hearts. It was during COVID when we first visited Mintos for a tour. My very picky mom immediately picked up on things that made this place so different from others. They had real cleaning tools and routines and very thorough disinfecting routines, which really gave us peace of mind. During the COVID times the government handed some stipends to daycare centers which we didn't know until those checks came through them to us. Mintos Casa didn't keep them but rather passed them directly along to the families. After years and having lived in four states, such things are still unheard of, not to mention we now pay twice as much for daycare in CA. The love, the integrity, the family feel are all things I miss about them. I hope Ms. Minto can keep running this place and hopefully she and staff all get rewarded somehow for their hard work
Jessica B.We are extremely appreciative for the care and growth Minto’s provided my two kids. Our daughter attended from ages 2-4, and our son from 6 months-2 years. Minto’s is a small operation run by dedicated, unpretentious, and loving caretakers/teachers. Though specific teachers are assigned to specific classes, they are constantly helping one another out, so nearly every teacher had some relationship with every kid. They are loyal to the Montessori method, which really helped the flourishing and learning of my daughter in particular. Both my kids loved the food, which is cooked daily with love and care. The preschool curriculum has a wonderful balance of academics and socialization. The teachers put so much thought into what is best for each child, and they work as a team with the parents to help the child reach his/her potential. As for the infant/toddler classes, the teachers made the transition as smooth as possible, allowing us to visit the classroom in advance and acclimate our kids to the new environment. The facilities are clean and simple, no more and no less than what the children need. I was amazed when my son’s teacher sent us a video of him napping peacefully on his cot—we are barely able to convince him to nap at home, but somehow the teachers do it with ease. When we applied for Minto’s 3 years ago, our daughter was on the waitlist for a whole year, but now I understand why it sometimes takes so long. Per the Montessori philosophy, kids progress to the next class based on developmental milestones rather than age, so it’s difficult to predict when there will be an opening. Our son took longer to talk/walk consistently, so another kid who was in line for his spot had to wait longer. If you are considering registering, I truly believe it is worth the wait. We will miss Minto’s VERY much, and are eternally grateful for the heart and soul of this institution!

We’ve had an amazing experience with Minto’s Casa! Our baby started in the infant room at 5 months, and the teachers have been so loving and attentive from day one. We get good updates, and the Montessori approach really shows even at this young age. The space is clean, safe, and calm. We feel so lucky to have found this place — highly recommend to any Farmington Hills parent looking for infant care they can trust!
